This woman went through the unimaginable and emerged a hero to people everywhere.
She was on Youtube one day and came across an 8 second video of her titled “The ugliest girl in the world.” At the time, it had over 4 million views with a plethora of ill intended comments (to say the least). But that’s not what we want to focus on. The importance here lies in how she chose to respond.
Lizzie handled such a traumatic experience in the most inspiring of ways. She made (and continues to make) her dreams come true and is impacting the world in the process. They say that success is the best revenge. This is an example of such a belief. It’s all about channeling energy into your dreams. Both negative and positive energies; both can fuel you and create such momentum towards creating and fulfilling your passions. (First, know what you want 😉 )
Lizzie is changing the perception of beauty all around the world. Shining light into the dark and transmuting it on a cosmic scale just by sharing her story. That, in itself, is so beautiful and inspiring to us. This girl is truly meant for big things in the world and it makes us so happy to see her rise up to the challenge. How we respond to a challenge is usually what makes or breaks us all in the end. Let’s allow this woman to show us how incredible it can be. Whatever challenges we face now, whatever issues may arise in the future, we don’t need to let anything knock us down.
It’s a choice to accept failure; the ones who find success chose not to accept it.
“Failure” only boosted their drive to become better versions of themselves. Because our interactions with people can cause us to become more self aware, conflict and turbulence should be welcomed. Internal chaos creates change and self reflection creates the drive to be better today than you were yesterday. It can show you what you truly want or allow you to help others who may be in a similar situation.
We always have the power to channel chaos into something positive. Whether that’s done with action or with a change in perception, it’s all infusing the world with more compassionate understanding. Welcome it, learn from it, and see how quickly this issue will dissipate (let us know, we’re curious too:P).
We should start having a little fun with the challenges that arise…they are only here to help us learn and nudge us along our paths. We can bring these challenges to the light in order to transmute and change the world like Lizzie chose to do. Anything is possible and we hope to continue showing you that.
“She’d rather light candles than curse the darkness and her glow will warm the world.”
